苏州市产业技术研究院（简称“产研院”）成立于2019年1月，2022年12月整体划转至苏州创新投资集团有限公司，成为全国唯一由市级国有创投机构举办、市科技部门业务指导的产业技术研究院。产研院立足“双面绣”定位，搭建政府与市场衔接的桥梁，聚焦应用技术开发与科技成果转化，积极开展拨投联动。截至目前，已设立25家技术研究所，实施8个重大产业化项目，覆盖苏州重点产业领域，吸引包括朱日祥、徐红星等17个院士团队来苏创业，孵化成果荣获江苏省科学技术奖一等奖、全国颠覆性技术创新大赛优胜项目等多项荣誉。

Suzhou Industrial Technology Research Institute (SITRI) was founded in January 2019. In December 2022, following the transfer of its equity to Suzhou Capital Group, SITRI became the only industrial technology research institute in China directly managed by a city-level, state-owned venture capital firm and guided in its business operations by the local science and technology bureau. Like a piece of “double-faced embroidery,” a delicate art form presenting two sides of a unified whole, SITRI operates and bridges a seamless connection between the local government and the market. The institute also actively implements the “funding and investment” model through its dedicated work in developing applied technology and applying scientific and technological advances. To date, SITRI has established 25 technology research institutes and implemented 8 major industrialization projects, covering all the key industrial fields in Suzhou. It has also attracted 17 academician teams (including teams led by Zhu Rixiang and Xu Hongxing) to start business in Suzhou. A number of innovation results incubated with the institute’s support have won honors including a first prize of the Science and Technology Awards of Jiangsu Province and an Outstanding Project award in the National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition.
